Diademed Roman-style busts back to back; above, ‘sana arbaʿ wa thamānīn wa khamsa miʾa’ (‘year 584’ in Arabic). Rev. Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Nasir li-din Allah (AH 575-622 / AD 1180-1225), and the Ayyubid al-Nasir Salah al-Din Yusuf (AH 564-589 / AD 1169-1193) as overlord in the field and around as ‘al-malik al-ʿādil Quṭb / al-Dīn Sukmān ibn / Muḥammad ibn Qarā Arslān / ibn Urtuq muʿīn al-imā/m al-Nāṣir / li-Dīn Allāh / al-malik al-Nāṣir / Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb’ (‘The just king Qutb al-Din Sukman, son of Muhammad, son of Qara Arslan, son of Urtuq, supporter of Imam al-Nasir li-din Allah.
